All of the verses, or songs in any of the Roald Dahl books are in this book. If you like the verses from James and the Giant Peach, they are there. Same with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (one of my personal favorites). There are versus from The Witches, George's Marvelous Medicine, and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. This book is great for kids that love Roald Dahl books.

The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg By Rodman Philbrick During the Civil War, Homer and Harold Figg, two orphans are living with their uncle until one day, when Harold is sold to the army. Homer really wants his brother back, but he's trapped. He digs himself out of the root cellar he's in, and goes toward his brother. He gets kidnapped, betrayed, and almost shot in this awesome book. A great book for those who like suspense and action.

When his friend asks him to find five stones, trouble starts. He and his guinea pig get trapped in a well, and get really scared. This book is really good for people that like simple, semi-peaceful books.
