Lemony Snicket: "Shouldn't you be in school?" By Lemony Snicket Lemony Snicket is in a town called Stain'd by the Sea, where evil villain Hangfire is hanging out. His last evil plan was kidnapping children and putting them in an abandoned hospital. Stain'd by the Sea is getting more and more abandoned each day, which helps Hangfire even more. One day, Snicket hears that Hangfire is holding the kids hostage at a fancy school building, which is loaded with laudanum, a chemical which makes you sleepy. Can Snicket save everyone or will he be captured too? I reccomend this book for those who like books about heroes and villains.

Fart Squad:Fartasaurus Rex By Seamus Pilger    A few weeks ago, Darren Stonkadopolis and three other kids, Walter, Tina, and Juan-Carlos ate radioactive burritos that gave them all super fart powers. Walter can fly, Tina can make silent-but-deadly farts without making a face, Juan-Carlos can plant stink bombs that go off when he wants them to, and Darren makes super butt-burning atomic farts that can be smelled from space. While at a field trip at a dinosaur museum, Darren has to go fart. Really bad. So he goes outside, and does his business, but wakes up a prehistoric Fartasaurus Rex,which goes on a monstrous rampage. Will the fart squad be able to stop this rampaging monster? Or will they end up in Fart City?

Akimbo and the Crocodile man By Alexander McCall Smith     Akimbo lives in Africa with his family.  It is a dangerous place to live, especially for a boy his age.  One day, an unusual visitor named John comes to visit.  Akimbo is interested in him, partly because he wrote a book about crocodiles.  Because of John, Akimbo gets to see crocodile eggs hatch, a joyous occasion.  This book is great for those who are interested in Africa, and crocodiles.

Little Green Men at the Mercury Inn By:Greg Leitch Smith      Aiden is a twelve-year-old living at the Mercury Inn with his parents, the owners.  His friend Lucas, is a UFO geek and has a bionic leg.  They both were in a car accident, which is when Lucas swore he saw a UFO.  Two years later, a giant UFO appears above the Inn.  This is when the adventure starts.  This book is full of conspiracy theories, power blackouts, and aliens, and is great for those who like sci-fi stories and aliens.

Tentacles By Roland Smith Travis Wolfe is a cryptid hunter, this means that he hunts creatures, like Bigfoot and Yeti. His enemy is Noah Blackwood. Travis has just found two dinosaur eggs, and is trying to catch a giant squid. His niece and nephew are coming along as well as a ginormous crew. But Noah has some people working for him on the ship, and they are determined to sabotage the expedition. Travis is not sure if or how he will catch a giant squid, but he has invented a special alloy to help him catch it. But Noah's men have planted c4 on the ship! Will Wolfe get the giant squid, or will they be blown sky-high?  This book is a great adventure story for those who like cryptids.

Vile Verses By: Roald Dahl All of the verses, or songs in any of the Roald Dahl books are in this book. If you like the verses from James and the Giant Peach, they are there. Same with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (one of my personal favorites). There are versus from The Witches, George's Marvelous Medicine, and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. This book is great for kids that love Roald Dahl books.
