During the Civil War, Homer and Harold Figg, two orphans are living with their uncle until one day, when Harold is sold to the army. Homer really wants his brother back, but he's trapped. He digs himself out of the root cellar he's in, and goes toward his brother. He gets kidnapped, betrayed, and almost shot in this awesome book. A great book for those who like suspense and action.
